This is a superb study in geometric abstraction. Not only are rectangles and rhombuses interplaying with each other, but they are interlinked by an ever-widening series of parabolas. It's good for the overall composition that the circle within is off-center. Gradations of deep blue framed by black outlines lend this artwork a stained-glass-window essence. Intriguing is the shape in the center bottom half. It suggests a radio tower; indeed, it may BE a radio tower. Time was when we could presume that only the sun shining through glass could produce such luminescence, but in 21st-century Cyberspace such depth of hue can be attained with Web colors.
